Daly, “Trucking Deregulation—Utopia Or Chaos” (n.d., 6 pp.) re/ a thorough and critical examination of the deregulation advocates and the simplicity of their ideology; 1 letter (12/3/78) from Jacob Dekema (Dist. Crowley (Charge d’Affairs a.i., U.S. Embassy, Bern, Switzerland) & Wilson’s reply (1/24/79) re/ “SIG Industrial Company of Schaffhausen, Switzerland … negotiating with your city…for the supply of fourteen streetcars, valued at $10 million;” 1 stapled packet containing corresp. (Dec.1978-Jan. 1979) from Congressman Robert K. Dornan, “Memo to ‘Boss,’” “Draft” to Mayor Wilson, typed note to Bob Moffet (Congressman Dornan’s Office), “Memorandum To: Karen Heath From: Bob Moffett” with attached letters from Congressman Dornan to Mayor Pete Wilson & attached photocopy of “Memorandum of Understanding Between the Government of the Swiss Confederation and the Government of the United States Concerning the F-5 Program” (2 pp.) re/ “the purchase of Swiss Industrial Company cars would be of direct benefit to California employment, inasmuch as the Garett Corporation would be responsible for providing the propulsion and control systems for the Swiss cars.”
