The Public Affairs Committee of the JCC commissioned playwright C. Lester Franklin to write and stage a dramatic adaptation of "the Kerner Report" in March,1968. It was staged as living theater with a multi-media environment. It brought about much discussion and controversy in the San Diego community and beyond. This folder includes a letter from Cesar Chavez.
