This file contains a photocopy of a scrapbook of newspaper clippings about congregation B'nai Aron, the first congregation in La Jolla, established in 1970. The scrapbook was compiled by Anita Idell and Rabbi Maurice Idell, who was the congregation's rabbi. Included are clippings regarding an international campaign -- championed by Rabbi Idell, attorney Melvin Belli and other national figures -- to save eleven Soviet Jews from execution and/or prison.
