Some letters contain information about a biography of Jim Jones that Barbara had read; she expresses how surprised she was to learn of his childhood and early life. Letters also contain general information regarding Barbara’s struggle with depression surrounding the loss, having a difficult time adjusting to the busy life in Sacramento, and details about her new job.
