Alexander & Wilson's reply re/ Gold Star Wives' Service and Welfare Fund and alleged unethical behavior; a packet of 15 pages from Harry L. Malin (Public Account) re/ "IN THE MATTER OF Gold Star Wives of America, Inc. -- Exhibits A -D & Comments; a letter from constituent Donald Morgan Hurd & Wilson's reply re/ "proposing that disability compensation for peacetime and wartime disability be equal;" printed excerpt from the Congressional Record -- "Remarks of Hon. John Phillips . . . April 1, 1953 re/ "Veterans' Administration Appropriations;" "Excerpts From Booz, Allen & Hamilton Survey of the Veterans' Administration," 18 pages; a letter (4/10/53) to Wilson from Lewis K. Gough (National Commander, American Legion) & attached copies of "Analysis of certain portions of speeches made on the floor of the House of Representatives, April 1 and 2, 1953, discussing appropriations for veterans programs;" a copy fo "Summary of Veterans' Legislation Reported 85th Congress -- Laws Enacted," 12 pages.
