Scope and Contents
A collection of letters, telegrams, postal cards, news clippings and other items that are primarily constituent alarms and Wilson's response to the alleged "State Department directive to its field officers in 20 major cities to destroy their files on Government security risks." Wilson had "asked the Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee to order an immediate investigation of this seemingly dangerous action."
