A small collection of memorandum, letters & telegrams. Examples are: a packet of corresp. related to the endeavor of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Raney to obtain funds for the expansion of Chula Vista Hospital and the difficulty of obtaining an RFC loan; letters (Feb.-Apr. 1954) from constituent D.E. Scarbery (San Vicente Ranch, Ramona), Congressman Wilson & True D. Morse (Under Secretary, Dept. of Agriculture) re/ Mr. Scarbery's "effort to obtain a special livestock loan;" a letter (n.d.) from constituent Philip Peskin (Peskin's Market, Point Loma) & Wilson's reply (10/13/54) re/ Mr. Peskin's frustration with the Small Business Administration & political support for Wilson; letters (Sept.-Oct. 1954) from constituent Kenneth E. Schlomer, Wilson & Donald McLarnan (Regional Dir., Small Business Admin., Los Angeles) re/ Mr. Schlomer's need to obtain a loan to fix up his pet shop business; other topics in this folder are: Wilson responds (1955) to an El Cajon constituent request for assistance in obtaining a loan from the Insured Escrow Company; a letter (May 25, 1956) from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System to The Honorable Bob Wilson re/ the "availability of mortgage funds in your district;" corresp.(1956) related to an inquiry Wilson made for a constituent's FHA loan; corresp. (1956), loan applications and instruction sheets "regarding the loan fund of the Fish and Wildlife Service."
