Scope and Contents

A large collection of letters, government reports, newsletters, brochures, application forms & other items. Examples are: a letter (12/21/65) from Alvin P. Meyers (Regional Dir., Small Business Admin., L.A.) and attached copy of a listing of names of companies who attended the Sub-Contracting Conference in Beverly Hills on Dec. 15; a letter (10/20/65) from Larry J. Travis (Lincoln Park, MI) & Wilson's reply (11/4/65) re/ a query from Mr. Travis about the proposed repeal of Section 14B of the Taft Hartley Act. Wilson was "inalterably opposed" to the repeal legislation; a letter (10/23/65) from constituent Gustav Gunderson (Valley Pharmacy, Spring Valley) & Wilson's reply (11/1/65) re/ a request for information as to the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965, S-1648 and a proposed "recreational travel-trailer court in the Borrego Springs area;" a copy of Housing and Home Finance Agency, Housing and Urban Development California Congressional District No. 36 (6/30/64); letters (Sept.- Oct. 1965) from constituent & consulting engineer Richard S. Holmgren, Wilson, Donn Stevens Mitchell (Deputy Asst. Dir., Office of Economic Opportunity), H.H. Williams (Administrator, Economic Development Admin.) & Charles M. Smith (Congressional Liaison Officer, Housing and Home Finance Agency) re/ Mr. Holmgren's request for information as to the recently passed Housing and Urban Development Act of 1965 (Public Law 89-117); letters (May-July 1965) from T.M. Heggland (Chief Administrative Officer, County of San Diego), Congressman Wilson & Robert C. Weaver (Administrator, HHFA) re/ the status of San Diego County's application for urban planning assistance; letters (June-July 1965) from constituent E. Victor Pfeifer (Compleet Carpet Cleaners), Wilson & Alvin P.
