A collection of letters, telegrams & news clippings. Examples are: a letter (7/23/54) from Capt. R. J. Moore (HQ. U.S. Pacific Fleet) to Wilson re/ support for stability of civilian employment at the repair facility; a constituent's letter (6/14/56) to Wilson re/ extensive commentary on threats & damage from those in his neighborhood to this WWI veteran & his spouse, failures of law enforcement to control these actions, lack of management assistance at the repair facility and his danger of being terminated from employment forced him to seek Wilson's assistance; letters (5/55) from constituent Harry E. Miner, Wilson & RAdmin. George A. Holderness, Jr. (Chief of Industrial Relations) re/ complaints about emergency working conditions at the Naval Repair Facility; a letter (6/17/55) from Capt. E. H. Schantz (Acting Chief of Industrial Relations) to Wilson re/ a response to these shift changes at the Repair Facility; letters & telegram (July, Sept.& Oct. 1956) from RAdm. A. G. Mumma & attached news clipping – "Navy to Reduce Civilian Staff at Repair Faciltiy," Evening Tribune, 9/15/56, b-14 and BuShips listing of average employment at the Repair Facility from 1945-1956; additional commentaries on this topic in this folder are: a packet of corresp. (Sept. 1956) re/ extensive constituent and employee concerns about the reduction in employment at the Repair Facility and Wilson's efforts to resolve these issues; telegrams (10/2/56) from M.J.
