A collection of letters, news clippings, photos and other items. Examples are: News clippings from local S.D. papers (1959) featuring Nuclear Sub Base Piers & "Tender Prepares for A-Sub Visits Sperry Runs tests at Ballast Pt. on Sargo, Swordfish Moorings (Tribune – 7-9-59); a letter (4/2/59) from Thomas W. Sefton (Executive V.P. Hargus (Licensed Surveyor) & Wilson's reply (12/18/63) re/ "proposed enlargement of the Atomic Submarine Base at Ballast Point" & Mr. Hargus' concerns about "disagreeable side effects" such as sewer lines, street access and other transportation issues.
