Fawcett, Jr. (Transit Advertising), Wilson's reply (2/4/64) & 2 b&w photographs re/ details on the recent riot in the Panama Canal Zone; a letter (2/20/64) from Robert O. Bauman (Dept. Comander, The American Legion, Canal Zone), a Legion Resolution & Wilson's reply (3/5/64) re/ stressing new threats to the Canal Zone & rejection of hiring of Panamanians as policemen; a packet of letters, telegrams, & news clippings (3/64) from constituents, a copy of H. Con. Res. 105 (3/4/64), & Wilson's replies re/ criticism of the Democrats' policies, a general breakdown of U.S. foreign policy, & concerns about events in the Panama Canal Zone; a packet of letters (Apr.-May 1964) from constituents, Wilson & news clippings re/ "Walter Winchell's statements pertaining to the Panamanian situation . . . clearly stating that Secretary Rusk has not made public the full story of what happened during the riot in Panama;" a letter (4/24/64) from George R. Bolton (Navy, FPO) & Wilson's reply (5/4/64) re/ a "clipping pertaining to the Ford Foundation grant and the economic study group sent to Panama by President Johnson" and Wilson's agreement with Mr. Bolton's criticism of these actions; a letter (6/13/64) from constituent Robert L. McGee & Wilson's reply (6/29/64) re/ "the proposal to make the nation of Panama our 51st State."
