Scope and Contents

A collection of forms, booklets, pamphlets, lists of persons naturalized and other items. Examples are: a copy of “General Information for Applicants for Visitor Visas,” The Foreign Service of the United States, GPO 1960; a 10 page pamphlet entitled “United States Customs Hints . . . .,” GPO 1954; a copy of “United States Immigration Laws General Information,” U.S. Dept. of Justice (Rev. 5-15-59), 25 pages; a copy of House of Representatives, “Committee on the Judiciary – Subcommittee No.1,” 86th Congress, “Rules of Procedure;” copies of Dept. of Justice, “Special Naturalization Benefits for Veterans, Wives and Husbands of United States Citizens, Children of United States Citizens” and “United States Naturalization Requirements A Brief Summary of General Provisions” GPO 1959; a 1 page copy of Dept. of State, “VO-Student” 9-25-58; copies of Dept. of State, “General Information Regarding Visas for Immigrants,” 2 pages; a “List of Persons Naturalized in United States District Court at San Diego, California During the Month of February, 1963;” a copy of Dept. of State, Visa Office Bulletin, No. 106, Feb. 1, 1963, “Status of Immigration Quotas,” 3 pages; a letter of instruction (2-61), Dept. of State, “VO- Visitor; U.S. Dept. of Health, Education, and Welfare, “Statement of General Information on Consideration of Requests for Waivers of the Two-Year Foreign Residence Requirement of the Exchange Visitor Program,” Rev. 2-15-62; a pamphlet entitled “You and your Passport,” Passport Office, Dept. of State- released 12/56; copies of Dept. of State, Passport Office, “Essential Requirements When Making Application for Passport”(3-21-57), “Fees Charged By Foreign Countries for the Visa of American Passports” (5-20-57) and “Passports Not Required” (2-20-57) re/ 4 page list of foreign countries, all in Western Hemisphere.
