Leonard (U.S. Attorney General Offices) re/ the complicated story of Air Force veteran Hanger’s alleged indebtedness to the U.S. government; 2 – letters (1958-1961) from San Diego constituent Mrs. Mary E. Sundstrom, Wilson, Frank H. Weitzel (U. S. Asst. Comptroller General), J. S. Massie (For Chief, Debt Branch, U.S. General Accounting Office), J. A. Bambrick (Chief, Debt Section, as above), C. L. Utter & W. A. Faraci (Settlement Dept., U.S. Navy Finance Center, Cleveland, OH) & Joseph Campbell (Comptroller General of the United State) re/ complicated story of Navy Nurse Sundstrom’s duty in Naples, Italy and alleged over payment of per diem allowance; 3 – letters (July-Aug. 1961) from La Jolla constituent Mrs. Lucia D. Taylor & Wilson re/ Mrs. Taylor’s claims arising out of the “Sino/Japanese incident of August 1937, and the Japanese occupation of Shanghai and Hongkong in December 1941” and her plea for Wilson’s support for H.R. 7283.
