A collection of letters, a postal card & a news clipping. Examples are: letters & postal card (Apr.- July 1953) from constituent Bennie Polak, Edward Terrar (Adm. Asst. to Wilson), Congressmen Bob Wilson & James B. Utt, Capt. J. E. Wolowsky (Commanding Officer, Naval Supply Depot, San Diego) & Daniel M. Lyons (Pardon Attorney, Dept. of Justice) re/ Mr. Polak is contesting his discharge as a civilian employee and seeks a pardon for his alleged crime; letters (11/53 & 6/54) from Daniel M. Lyons & Kenneth V. Harvey (Pardon Attorneys, Justice Dept.), Wilson & EL Cajon constituent Emory Judd re/ Mr. Judd seeks Wilson assistance in expediting his pardon; letters (1954 & 1955) re/ involved story of a young San Diegan, federal prison, possible parole and potential job at Walker Scott Dept. store; letters & news clipping (Apr.-June 1955) re/ Cosimo A. Curti (Italian-American Civil Assoc.) seeks Wilson’s assistance in securing parole for a friend of the family – also sends news clipping with photo of Wilson & Harry Foster, who is a S.D. mayoral candidate and supports local tuna industry ban on Japanese tuna imports; letters (10/55) re/ a constituent requests Wilson assistance in matter of a parole for Texan Willie Pinkard; letters (2/55) re/ San Diegan, a prisoner at the Federal Camp in Tucson, AZ, is being considered for parole in May;
