Scope and Contents
Only two stapled copies of letters. 1. a letter (2/14/57) from W. Allen Perry (Past President, American Institute of Park Executives, Inc.), his enclosed Resolution adopted by their Executive Committee & Wilson’s reply (2/19/57) re/ support for municipal parks and a request for the issue of a commemorative stamp celebrating the establishment of Central Park in New York; 2. letters (May-June 1957) from J. L. Zerbe (President, Naval Hospital Stamp Club, San Diego), Wilson & Margaret Fennell (American Law Division, Legislative Reference Service, The Library of Congress) re/ responses to Mr. Zerbe’s request that Wilson sponsor a bill asking “the President to designate June 27 as National Shut-in Stamp Collector’s Day, and June 23 to 29 as National Stamp Collectors’ Week.”
