Scope and Contents
Only one item: A letter (1/21/64) from constituent Miss Marjorie G. Nelson to Postmaster General John A. Gronouski, copy to Wilson and Wilson’s reply (2/5/64) re/ stamp collector Nelson has a number of comments in her letter about possible pro-war or anti-peace messages in the design of the Sam Houston stamp and the New Jersey design with “two armed settlers,” and the possible negative propaganda effect of such stamps. See also her comments about President Kennedy’s visit to SDSC in June 1963 and postcards sent to Caroline and John Kennedy in Dec. 1963 with views of the college.
