Administrator for Legislative Affairs, NASA) re/ Mr. Kreiss’s desire to keep the moon landing under US control by stockpiling supplies there and having an astronaut stay on the moon to safeguard our first lunar landing; letters & news clipping (June-July 1965) from Descanso constituent Mrs. Forest J. Stille, Congressmen Bob Wilson & Porter Hardy, Jr. & Colonel Roy N. Steele (Chief, Office of Legislative Liaison, Dept. of the Army) re/ controversy over the “Davy Crockett,” the Army’s small tactical nuclear weapon, Wilson’s hope to regain control of the House and Mrs. Steele’s conservative fears.
