Scope and Contents
A large collection of government documents, letters, notes, brochures, pamphlets, resolutions, statements, maps, telegrams, news clippings, news releases & other items. These are not filed chronologically. Examples are: a copy of Report No. 215 80th Cong. 1st Sess. “Water Quality Act of 1965”(29 pp.); letters (June-July, 1965) from Miss Miriam Anderson (Ex. Com, S.D. Sierra Club), William E. Siri (President, Sierra Club), Congressman Wilson & his Admin. Asst. Edgar Gillenwaters re/ the negative effects of the channelization of the lower Colorado River; office note for Ed. (6-8-65) & letter (6/21/65) from Donald R.
