A small collection of letters, a press release & a study. Examples are: letters & press release (11/55) from Congressman Glenard P. Liscomb & Wilson’s reply re/ the Special Subcommittee on Water Resources and Power will hold hearings in Los Angeles on Dec. 7th & 8th; a letter (2/8/56) from John U. Terrell (Washington Representative, Colorado River Assn.) to Wilson re/ statements concerning how the Upper Colorado River Storage Project will limit flows below Lee Ferry thus hurt the Metropolitan Water District and San Diego; copy of a letter (2/28/56) from Wilson to John U. Terrell re/ “Thank you for sending along the brochure outlining twenty reasons for opposing the Colorado River Project;” a letters (1/24/56) from La Mesa constituent Paul O. Gottschling , a copy of his study entitled “In Support of a Water Authority with Real Mandatory Power,” Wilson’s replies(1/26 & 2/20/56) & a letter (2/14/56) from Fred G. Aandahl (Assistant Secretary of the Interior) re/ a cogent study on water loss, need for remediation & the Interior Dept. response.
