Wirth (M.D.) to Congressman Lipscomb and Wilson re/ negotiation with postal department to construct a new post office in Ontario; a letter (10/25/55) from O.H. Fuller (Regional Operations Mgr., San Francisco) & E.F. Terrar, Jr.’s letters (11/1 &11/4/55) to Dr. Wirth re/ bids on Ontario post office and the contract award went to Denalco Corporation of Azusa; letters (11/7/55) from Dr. Wirth re/ more information on the Ontario post office bidding; a letter (11/8/60) from Irving W. Thomas (Dir., Division of Real Estate, Bureau of Facilities, Post Office Dept.) to Dr. Wirth re/ information on the successful bidder and Dr. Wirth’s note to Ed. Terrar that “the other bidder has not even one building up, and not street paving yet . . . . I guess they had more money than we.”
