Scope and Contents

A collection of letters, notes, telegrams, photographs, note of gram, advertisement, news clippings & other items. These are filed from July to Dec. but other months are also noted. Examples are: a letter (7/15) from H. Sanchez (Mgr., Bank of America) to Wilson re/ personal; letters (6/19 & 7/15) from American Field Service exchange student Roger M. Showley (high school senior, Republican & San Diegan) & Wilson’s reply (6/28) re/ events in the Netherlands and Wilson’s assistance to this young man; letters (7/18 & 7/22) re/ Miss Selma Kause (Green Valley, AZ), her book Mahalo, retirement and pro Republican view points; notes & letters (July) re/ C. Arnolt Smith seeks Wilson and others assistance in attempting to lease a pleasure yacht for a week at Cannes or Nice but is unsuccessful; letters (6/18 & 7/9) re/ Wilson’s concern for James S.
