Scope and Contents
A small collection of letters. These are: a letter (1/14) from Coronado constituent & earth science teacher Byron Broudy to Wilson re/ Thanking Wilson for sending the latest Yearbook and congratulating him on his efficient and thoughtful behavior; a letter (3/10) from Miss Delores M. Swartz, “a student at San Diego State College working for a teaching credential. My major emphasis is geography” – she requested the 1957 edition on SOILS. Wilson’s supply was exhausted, but he was trying to obtain a copy for her from another member of Congress; a letter (9/24) from Congressman William F. Ryan (20th Dist. N.Y.) re/ “Dear Colleague: I have discovered that my supply of Agricultural Yearbooks far exceeds my urban voters’ demand for them. We have extra copies of the 1961, 1962, 1963, and 1964 issues . . . to make available to you in return for any publications of interest to our city voters;” a letter (10/6) from constituent Mrs. Judith R. Barstown & Wilson’s reply (10/11) re/ a request for FOOD is complied with by Wilson’s office; a letter (9/30) from constituent Mrs. Myra M. Gentner & Wilson’s reply (10/11) re/ “We are happy to send you, under separate cover, copies of the following yearbooks of the Department Agriculture: Land 1958, Food 1959, Seeds1961, After a Hundred Years 1962, Consumers All 1965.”
