Scope and Contents

This is another very large collection of letters, news clippings, newsletters, telegrams, notes, memos & other items. Most of these are filed in descending order from December to January. examples from December are: a letter from Lees E. King & Wilson’s reply re/ Mr. Lee’s successful years as editor of The Watch (the monthly newsletter of the D.C. Council of the Navy League); Wilson’s letter congratulating Thomas S. Gates, Jr. becoming the Secretary of the Navy; news clipping & letter re/ Wilson’s praise for Milton R. Cheverton as president of the CA Assn. of Insurance Agents “since most of my campaign workers are affiliated with the insurance business;” news clipping & letter re/ Wilson’s congratulations to Richard Cromwell, Jr. as newly elected president of the Public Relations Society of America. “Most of your officers and board members are close friends of mine;” news clipping & letter re/ S.
