Scope and Contents
A small collection as follows: promotional information for the Washington Senators’ baseball team showing a map of “Routes to D.C. Stadium” and a seating chart; a letter (4/5/62) from Charles R. Jamison, Jr. (Jann & Kelley, Inc. Newspaper Representatives, Los Angeles) & attached photocopy of “President Seeks New Taxes to Expand Recreation Areas $500 Million Fund Asked of Congress,” Los Angeles Times, Apr. 5, 1962, A2 re/ Mr. Jamison’s outrage over this “ill-disguised attempt . . . to intrude the power of the Federal Government on the daily lives of the people, to take away from them the free outdoors . . . .;” and a 27 page “Index of Resolutions” prepared for the National Wildlife Federation’s 26th Annual Convention, Denver, Colo., March 9-11, 1962. There are 20 Resolutions listed and described.
