There are only a small number of items in this folder: a letter (3/28/57) from Phillip Knox, Jr. (Executive Dir. Republican Associates of Los Angeles County) to Wilson re/ “I certainly enjoyed having a chance to get acquainted with you last Monday. If we can ever do anything for you in this office I hope you won’t hesitate to ask;” a letter (3/11/59) from Clarence G. Adamy (Dir. of Personnel, Republican National Committee) to Wilson re/ “Enclosed you will find a run down on the 1950 and 1960 Census Program, showing how it will effect California;” and the 3 pages of “To Members of the California Delegation Subject: 1959 and 1960 Census . . . . Census of Agriculture . . . Census of Population.” This document is a call to actions for Republicans to help provide field assistants, crew leaders and enumerators for those districts having Republican Representatives.
