This folder contains five letters (June & July, 1959) re/ John J. Davis (a NASCO engineer) was unsuccessful in obtaining a direct commission in the Coast Guard. Although he had professional qualifications, his V.A. 40% disability was too high to meet the Coast Guard’s physical requirement for appointment.
