Young’s reply re/ a request to Wilson to assist son Lt. Harvey Ferer as to a problem connected to the Naval Reserve; letters (Nov.-Dec.) re/ Spring Valley constituent Willard S. Kingsbury requested Wilson’s assistance in resolving “an injustice being forced upon me by the Navy in connection with my status in the Naval Reserve.” Wilson attempted to help but in a Dec. 18th letter indicated “I do not know what can be done since it is apparent that you did not obtain the 50 points” that was necessary for retirement with pay.
