Scope and Contents

A collection of letters, office notes and news clippings cover November 1959 to June 1960: Examples are: Wilson responds to El Cajon constituent Mrs. Bertha W. Stein’s concerns about her retirement just when Social Security came into effect; Wilson and the Social Security Admin. reply to the concerns of Miss Michele Rendine that her monthly check does not cover present day expenses; Wilson and El Cajon constituent Charles B. F. Vanorsdale (Agent and Insurance Broker) exchange comments as to Social Security and concerns about “socialized medicine;” Wilson, Marge & Ann Wilson cover another case where a person did not have enough quarters built up to obtain Social Security; stapled packet of letters re/ attempting to obtain Social Security payments for a minor and a foster son from his mother’s death in 1954; Wilson helps a Chula Vista constituent, V.
