Scope and Contents
A collection of letters, a photo copy of a Foreign Service Despatch & a news clipping. Examples are: letters (Aug.’54) & Despatch re/ documentation showing the direct tie-in with Ho Chi Minh with the international communist conspiracy prepared by Public Affairs Officer in Beirut; letters & news clipping (Congress Checks “McCarthy Found Strong In Polls”) re/ constituent George M. Crawford and Wilson agree on rooting out the communists and pinkos that hide behind the 5th Amendment; letters (Jan.’54) re/ Mr. & Mrs. L. G. Anderson (La Jolla) favor immediate steps to force members of the Communist Party to lose their citizenship: letters (Apr.’59) stressing importance of House Un-American Activities Report on Communist Party activity in Southern California; letters (Aug.’59) re/alarm over Mr. Tupelov’s recent visit to Convair production line, also letter from Ray Stauffer to Wilson regarding personal and pro Nixon comment; letters (10/18 & 10/23/59) from Louis Aldem & Leon W. Parma (Wilson’s Administrative Assistant) re/Martin Sobell Case; letters (Nov. & Dec.’59) re/ a student doing a term paper for a course on Foreign Relations at Iowa State College requests Wilson’s assistance.
