A collection letters, telegrams, booklets, advertisement, resume, memorandum, and government forms; these are filed from April to October, but also include earlier dates. Examples are: letters from the United Republicans of California (UROC) & Goodyear Tire Company’s refusal to deal with Communist Rumania; staple packet of letters re/ automotive product & concern of San Diego Box Spring & Brake Works, Inc.; large, stapled packet of letters, nation by nation listing of details for solder products from Chemalloy Electronic, Corp.; letters & resume for Charles W. Tuck who is interested in establishing himself in the import-export business; concerns of American Cement Corp. with the dumping of ASANO Japanese cement in Southern California and need for passage of Antidumping Bill; Wilson -Memorandum for File (2/9/65 shipping soybeans to Russia; letters re/ State Department’s appeasement of Nasser and need to stop this; large packet of letters and other items re/ insurance for those in export-import business; letters re/ Bureau of Customs and tariff status of chickens exported to Mexico for killing, plucking, and eviscerated and returned; packet of letters & copy of news clipping re/ issue of debt collection and Federal Trade Commission’s Guide Against Debt Collection Deception.
