(Nov. 1973-Jan. 1974) from Congress-man Wilson, constituent Mrs. Stella Renner & attached photocopy of news article from the Evening Tribune (1/5/74) re/ inquiry from Mrs. Renner concerning the energy crisis, bringing back water taxi service to Coronado & North Island & seeking information on a former Illinois Congressman named Powers; small, stapled packet containing corresp. (Ap. 1971 & Dec. 1973) from Congressman Wilson & S. Howard Minor, Jr. (Gen. Manager, Fleet Water Taxi Co.) re/ fuel shortage & the attempts of Fleet Water Taxi Co. to develop “a non-profit association called ‘AQHBUS CLUB,’ [which] would charter Fleet Water Taxi Co. boats to carry club members to and from Naval Air Station and Point Loma-Shelter Island during the morning and late afternoon rush hours.” The April 1971 letter also discusses Assembly Bill No. 1399 which contemplated a non-vehicular ferry system between Coronado and downtown San Diego.
