A collection of letters, memos, city, county & state planning reports and other government documents. Examples are: Corresp. (9/80) from George F. Bailey (Chairman, Bd. of Dir., Comprehensive Planning Organization), Congressman Wilson’s reply & attached copy of CPO, Regional Planning Report on Shoreline Erosion, 1980 (24 pp.); 1 photocopy of Public Notice No. 79-146-NM (rev. 9/15/80) from Col. Gwynn A. Teague (Dist. Eng., U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) re/ a proposal of the CA Dept. of Transportation to “construct about nine (9) concrete pier footings ... place about 9,600 cubic yards of rock slope protection...and place about 30,000 cubic yards of fill material to stablize the south bank of the [San Diego] river,” location maps & typical section drawing included in packet; 1 letter from Ms Catherine C. Fredericks (Captain, USNRET), The U S Navy in San Diego Prior to World War II, 1979 (79 pp.)--a paper delivered to a conference held at the Cabrillo National Monument on 9/27/80; 1 large packet containing a CA Health Facilities Commission News Release (1/21/80) (7 pp.) re/ “San Diego Hospital Costs Rose $83 million In Three Years” and 1 copy of CA Health Facilities Commission, The Cost of Hospital Care, 1979 (29 pp. + 48 pp. of Appendices); 1 photocopy of Public Notice No. 80-82-RA (1/29/80) from Col. Gwyn A. Teague (Dist. Eng., U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) re/ CA DOT proposal to “construct concrete pier footings on driven steel piles...excavate about 20,900 cubic yards of material from the riverbed...in the San Diego River, near Lakeside, San Diego County...to replace an existing bridge over the San Diego River,” location maps & drawing included in packet; stapled packet containing “two special Task Force reports prepared and published by the San Diego Region Overall Economic Development Program, Directions ‘80 Energy Report, 1979 (9 pp.)& Directions ‘80 Entreprenurial Developments, 1979 (10 pp.); 1 letter (1/16/80) from Richard J.
