Scope and Contents

A collection of telegrams, letters, memorials & news clippings on fishing industry. Examples are: Four telegrams to Congressman Wilson (7/10-11/68)--“urgently request you support passage S. 2269, Amendment to Fishermen’s Protective Act;” photocopy  of  William M. Carley, “Who Owns the Ocean?” (The Wall Street Journal, 2-17-71); small, stapled packet of corresp. from Congressmen Wilson & John D. Dingell & Carl C.
