J. Shastid (Pres., Local #79, Welders Div., Int. Union of Operating Engineers) & Wilson’s reply (1/26/71) re/ Rohr Corp.’s leasing “facilities in Mexicali, Mexico and are performing work on the Bart Program in the electrical harness line as well as the LCM contract for the Navy. We feel very strongly against such action because of the unemployment they are creating in this state and as you are well aware unemployment is becoming a national problem.”
