Bahlavooni, Sr.(Pres., Local 197, National Federation of Post Office Clerks) re/ employment in El Cajon, P.O. & installation of ventilating fans in post office; copies of Post Office Dept., S Region office forms, dated July-Oct. 1956, notifying Congressman Wilson about the “extension of city delivery service” for Clairemont, Cabrillo Mesa, Vista Mesa, Euclid Ave. and other areas; 1 letter from Verne Scoggins (Post Office Regional Dir., San Francisco) to Congressman Wilson notifying Wilson of the extension of city delivery service “to 368 residences with a population of 1300 in Allied Gardens Unit 6 and in Chula Vista....;” stapled copies of letters from Robert Fahs (Asst. to Regional Dir., San Francisco) & Edward F. Terrar, Jr. (Adm. Burgener (Burgener-Travares Community Builders) (June-July 1955) re/ proposal for location & construction of post office facility in Clairemont -- “we have over 25,000 people living in Clairemont at the present time;” letters from Postmaster William E. Krenning & Congressman Wilson (May & June 1955) re/ need for Kay Lab Inc. factory on Kearney Mesa to have special delivery service in that area; stapled packet containing corresp. from Congressman Wilson, O. Manager, San Francisco) (Jan.-Feb. 1955) re/ Mr. Cotton’s complaints about inadequate Special Delivery letter service in San Diego & in Bonita & comments about his political support for the Republican Party; stapled packet containing corresp. from Eugene J. Lyons (Asst. Postmaster General), James P. Gleason (Adm. Asst. to Senator Knowland), Thomas J. Marron (Post Office Employee, San Diego) & E. F. Terrar, Jr. (Adm. Asst. to Wilson) (Oct. 1954-Jan. 1955) re/ Mr. Marron’s attempt to obtain reinstatement of a salary increase as a former postal employee and World War II vet.; stapled copies of letters from O. H. Fuller (San Francisco Reg. Ops. Office), Congress-man Wilson & Mrs. Opal McDonald (Opal’s Variety Store) (Nov. 1954-Jan. 1955) re/ Mrs. McDonald’s interest in establishing a contract postal substation at her variety store at 4286 Market St.; copy of 1 letter from Congressman Wilson to Postmaster Krenning (12/17/54) thanking Krenning “for your fine cooperation with my local office.
