In connection with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s investigation into the assassination of U.S. Congressman LEO J. RYAN at Port Kaituma, Guyana, South America, on November 18, 1978, a tape recording was obtained. This tape recording was located in Jonestown, Guyana, South America, and was turned over to U.S. Officials in Guyana and subsequently transported to the United States. On March 6, 1979, Special Agent (name deleted) reviewed the tape numbered 1B47#4. This tape was found to contain the following: Side A In the beginning of the tape an unidentified man asks an unidentified woman, "Did you kill her?" They then move away from the recorder and most of the remaining conversation cannot be heard, but bits and pieces of the conversation which can be heard sound like a Doctor and his female assistant talking to a very sick or drugged female patient. The patient sounds like an older woman. The Doctor called the woman patient, "Mother" once and "Grandmother" another time. Side B Conversation between an old sick woman and her relatives and/or friends. This tape was reviewed, and nothing was contained theron [sic] which was considered to be of evidentiary nature or beneficial to the investigation of Congressman RYAN.
