Physical Description Note

This video is a celebration to the late Judge Earl Ben Gilliam. Family and friends gather at the Bayview Baptist Church to honor the life and legacy of the first African-American judge of San Diego. The first people to open the ceremony are Reverend Dr. Timothy J. Winters and Reverend George Walker Smith who were dear friends of Judge Gilliam. Colleagues such as the Earl Ben Gilliam Bar Association present the family with resolution award for Judge Gilliam's achievements. Lastly, Derrick James Gilliam, son of Judge Gilliam gives his eulogy honoring the legacy of his father.
