Summary Note

Booklet put together by The Ohio Historical Society for the proposal of the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center Project. It would serve the purpose of collecting and interpreting artifacts to "help explain the African background of the Afro-American experience." It includes photographs that highlight Afro old world background to the new world experience, the struggle for freedom, wars, and the civil rights movement.
