Scope and Contents
This "Account in Detail of the Chinese Relief Expedition of 1900," appears to be a personal narrative. Dated from July 15, 1900 to November 15, 1900, it relates one military unit's involvement in the Allied effort to stop the Boxer Rebellion of 1899-1901. It includes day to day accounts of number killed, wounded, captured, camp sites, allies, and general activities.
