Primula ornaments in various combinations were used for decoration. the Jenson initial was drawn for the Mergenthaler Linotype Company in the 1920s but has its orgins in the designs of the Fifteenth Century. Printed by letterpress on Mohawk Superfine book paper. Design, type composition, and presswork by Richard J. Hoffman, Van Nuys, California, 1986."
