Scope and Contents The Gilbert Gaines Collection comprises the personal papers and photographs of geologist Gilbert Gaines. Because of the breadth of the collection, it has been organized alphabetically by subject, person, or correspondent with inclusive dates listed. The collection includes correspondence, memoranda, financial records, breeding lists, photographs, and publicity.
