The collection documents San Diego State University development and community planning, Business and Financial Affairs, Associated Students, Aztec Shops, SDSU Foundation, Public Safety, Facilities, the Equal Opportunity Protection Program, and university athletics.  It consists of correspondence, reports, memos, statements of policy, statements of goals, forms, and court petitions.

The Malcolm A. Love Papers consist of addresses, programs, greetings and invitations from his inauguration, administrative files, as well as miscellaneous files which include correspondence, memoranda, clippings, and reports.  It consists of five series: General Administrative Materials, Correspondence, Speeches, Press Clippings, and Awards & Scrapbooks.

The San Diego State University Centennial Collection documents the campus-wide celebration of the institution's one hundred year anniversary of its founding in 1897. The collection includes programs, reports, and photographs.
