The collection documents San Diego State University development and community planning, Business and Financial Affairs, Associated Students, Aztec Shops, SDSU Foundation, Public Safety, Facilities, the Equal Opportunity Protection Program, and university athletics.  It consists of correspondence, reports, memos, statements of policy, statements of goals, forms, and court petitions.

Biographical Note

William Erickson was born in Sacramento, California February 3, 1932. After serving in the Navy as a Supply Officer, he became the Business Services Officer at Sacramento State College in 1956. He worked in the Office of the Chancellor for two years as an Administrative Services Officer before becoming General Manager of the SDSU Foundation in 1963. There he served seven years before moving on as Director of Business Affairs at San Diego State University. In 1975 he became Vice President of Business and Financial Affairs until he retired in 1994.
