Scope and Contents

The Paul Schraer Collection has two parts. Box 1 contains materials related to the Beth Jacob Congregation and includes photographs of congregational activities, anniversary books and programs from special events from the 1930s to the 1980s. Box 2 contains materials related to B’nai B’rith and the Lasker, Heartland, Fox, and Weinberger lodges and includes by-laws, newsletters, membership lists, event announcements, correspondence, and a dues ledger book.

Scope and Contents The Myron Shelley San Diego Hebrew Home for the Aged Collection consists of the operational and fiscal records of the San Diego Hebrew Home for the Aged, dating from 1973 to 1995. It also includes some records from the North Shores B'nai B'rith Lodge (1963-1973), the Anti-Defamation League Council (1961-1978), the Community Relations Committee of the United Jewish Federation (1971-1976), the Temple Youth League of Temple Beth Israel (1947), and the Guardians...

The Gussie K. Singer City of Hope Collection consists of tribute books, newsletters, certificates, and other papers, including a 1971 tribute book honoring Harry Bronstein.

The Western Jewish Studies Association Collection contains the association's business records and official documents including correspondence, newsletters, flyers, membership lists, dues receipts, conference materials and proposals from conference speakers. The collection is arranged in chronological order.

The Woman's Institute for Continuing Jewish Education Collection contains the complete documentation of the institute's programs and publications and includes all of the institute's published books, newsletters, press releases, newspaper clippings, photographs, and a video tape.
