A small collection of letters & telegrams. Examples are: a letter (1/12/62) from E.G. Merrill, Jr. (VP, Title Insurance and Trust Co.) & Wilson's reply (1/19/62) re/ "President's proposal that a Department of Urban Affairs and Housing be set up;" letters (Feb.-Mar. 1962) from Mrs. John H. Larsen, a petition from 51 signers, Wilson, Cmdr. Kenneth R. Karr (Cong. Liaison Office, Office of the Sec. of the Navy), RAdm. Frank L. Johnson (Dir. of Shore Activities, CNO) & RAdm. Miles H. Hubbard (Acting DCNO, Logistics) re/ concerns about conditions in the Mitchell Manor Corporation housing project, East Meadow, New York; a letter (3/22/62) from Robert H.
