Jane Adams Recipe and Menu Collection
Scope and Contents
Jane Adams collected recipes and menus from hundreds of food manufacturers and locales. The collection has been separated into three sections, the largest being Fliers, Booklets, Cookbooks, and Topical, which is alphabetically filed, and which includes product/company fliers, topical information, and cookbooks by title. Handwritten Recipes and Cutouts includes handwritten recipes and clippings. Menus consists of menus, sorted by location of origin. Most of the items in the collection were printed with no date; the collection appears to cover approximately 1900 through the 1960s.
