Scope and Contents

The Audrey Karsh Collection includes Audrey Karsh's research notes, newspaper clippings and copies of original source material on San Diego’s Jewish pioneers and some notables of the 19th & 20th century. There are also personal photos and copies of Karsh's short stories, articles and plays.

Scope and Contents The Lasker Lodge Collection consists of a bound minute book, beginning with the first meeting on June 26, 1887 and ending with a meeting on January 23, 1922. In the minute book, besides the meeting minutes, there are lists of members, dues accounting, and tributes to deceased members. The Yoval (Jubilee) Book commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the lodge, containing history, photos, tributes, advertisements and pages about later B’nai B’rith...

Scope and Contents

The Henry Schwartz Collection comprises Schwartz's research material about the history of Jews and the Jewish community in San Diego and California and consists of alphabetical research files including notes, interviews, bibliographies, and photographs. Topics include persons, synagogues, antisemitism, the Holocaust, and Jewish organizations.
