Warner (Sec., Border Cities Conference) & a copy of Border Cities Conference Resolution (6/14/57) re/ support for increasing the number of hours that the Tecate border gate is open—In a six month period, between Oct. 1956 & Mar. 1957, “despite the fact that the border was closed to traffic 14 hours out of each 24 hours, 35,346 automobiles, 80,318 passengers, [&] 38,285 pedestrians . . . . crossed into the United States.”
