Scope and Contents

A collection of letters, office notes & other items. Examples are: letters (Nov. 1960- Feb.1961) regarding responses to "My husband and I have quite a serious problem concerning the Navy and it's medical program;" change of command notice for RAdm. Cokely replacing RAdm. Chrisman & Wilson's telegram of "Welcome Aboard;" letter & statement by Congressman Craig Hosmer (5/61) & Wilson's reply (5/61) re/ the need for a Naval Hospital at Long Beach; letters (Mar.-Apr. 1961) from constituent Mrs. Maria Schmidt, Wilson & RAdm. Cokley (Commanding Officer, U. S. Naval Hospital) re/ need for oversized beds for patients; a long, long constituent letter (5/26/61), a news clipping & Wilson's brief reply (6/14/61) re/ her very unsatisfactory personal experiences at the Navy Hospital; letters (6/61) re/ the resolution of this Navy wife's obstetrical Medicare problem at the Naval Hospital; a stapled packet of corresp.
