Scope and Contents
A large collection of letters, postal cards, telegrams, new clippings and other items which address the issue of creating a Department of Urban Affairs – H.R.8429 & SB 1630. All of these are negative commentaries on the creation of an Urban Affairs Department and are very representative of Congressman Wilson's politically conservative constituents.
